201901 서울역 도심공항 터미널, 인천공항 직통열차 이용하기[Use the Seoul Station City Airport Terminal]

 

1월에 다녀온 홍콩 여행 일정은 저녁 비행기여서 퇴근 후 바로 공항으로 가야했다.

퇴근 후에 공항에 도착해 체크인을 하고 보안검색대를 통과할 생각을 하니 도저히 시간상 가능할 것 같지 않아 아침 일찍 서울역에 가서 도심공항 체크인을 하기로 결정.

 

The trip to Hong Kong in January had to go to the airport right after work
because I used an evening flight.
When I arrived at the airport after work, I checked in
and thought about passing through security checkpoints,
I didn't think it would be possible in time.
So I decided to go to Seoul Station early in the morning and check in the downtown airport.

6시가 되기도 전 집을 나섰다. 여행때는 이렇게 부지런해진단 말이지 >_<

나는 여행때마다 타임스탬프 앱을 이용해 사진을 찍는데,

여행 후 사진마다 찍힌 날짜와 시간을 함께 볼 수 있어서
시간이 오래 지나도 그 순간을 더 쉽게 떠올릴 수 있는 것 같아서 좋다.

I left home before six in the morning.
I get diligent like this when I travel.
Whenever I travel, I use the time stamp app to take pictures.
I can see the date and time taken in each picture, so it's good to think of the moment more easily
after a long time.

도심공항 위치 & 이용안내

Seoul Station City Airport Location & User Guide

 

여덟시가 되기 전 서울역에 도착.

도심공항 터미널은 서울역 지하 2층에 위치하고 있고 안내 표시만 잘 따라가면 어렵지 않게 찾을 수 있다.

누구나 도심공항에서 수속을 할 수 있는 것은 아니고,
공항까지 직통열차를 이용하는 고객들에게만 제공되는 서비스이기 때문에
출국심사를 받기 전 직통열차 티켓을 먼저 구매해야 한다.

사진 속에 사람이 서 있는 곳, 그 곳이 직통열차 티켓 구매처이다.

직통열차는 배차간격이 40분이라 시간이 잘 맞지 않으면 일반 열차를 타는 것보다도 빠듯할 수 있지만
도심공항을 이용하기 위해서는 어쩔 수 없는 선택.

혹시 구매한 직통열차의 티켓보다 더 일찍 열차를 이용하고 싶을때는 구매처에서 티켓 교환을 하면 된다.

 

Arrived at Seoul Station before 8 a.m.
The downtown airport terminal is located on the second basement floor of Seoul Station
and can be found easily if you follow the directions well.
The city airport check-in service is only available to customers who use direct trains to the airport,
so tickets for direct trains are available after purchasing them first.
Where people stand in the picture, that's where tickets for direct trains are bought.
Direct trains can be more inefficient than regular trains if they are not well timed
because they are 40 minutes apart.
However, you have to purchase direct train tickets to use the city airport.
If you want to use the train earlier than the ticket for the direct train you bought,
you can exchange the ticket at the place of purchase.

 

 

회사에서 예정보다 조금 일찍 나올 수 있었기 때문에 6시10분 티켓을 5시30분 티켓으로 교환하고
40분 일찍 출발할 수 있었다.

 

I was able to leave the office a little earlier than scheduled.
So I exchanged the 6:10 ticket I bought in the morning for a 5:30 pm ticket and left 40 minutes early.

 

 

나는 대한항공을 이용했기 때문에 2터미널로.

서울역에서 2터미널까지는 51분이 걸린다.

 

I went to Terminal 2 because I used Korean Air.
It takes 51 minutes from Seoul Station to Terminal 2.

열차에서 내려 출국장까지 가는 거리가 짧지 않아 여유있게 오길 잘했다는 생각이 들었다.

도심공항을 이용하면 이미 출국심사까지 완료되어 공항에서 검색대만 통과한 후
바로 면세구역으로 입장할 수 있는데
도심공항 전용 게이트를 이용하면 5분 이내의 짧은 시간이 소요되어 상당한 시간을 단축할 수 있다.

아침에 출근하고 저녁에 공항으로 가야하는 분들, 혹은 집이 서울역이나 삼성동에서 가까운 분들에게는
적극 추천하고 싶다!

단, 모든 항공사가 이용할 수 있는 것이 아니라
당일 출발하는 국제선의 국내 FSC 항공사 두 곳, LCC 중 몇 곳 등 일부 항공사만 이용 가능하니
이용하는 항공사가 도심공항 터미널에서 수속 가능한지 꼭 확인해볼 것!

 

The distance from the train to the departure floor was long,
so I thought it was good to arrive at the airport comfortably.
If you go through the immigration screening at the city airport,
you can use the city airport's exclusive gate.
The city airport's passenger-only gate can be used to reduce the time required to
enter the duty-free zone.
I would highly recommend using the City Airport Terminal for those
who have to go directly to the airport from work in Seoul, or those whose home is close to
Seoul Station or Samsung-dong!
(There is also a downtown terminal in Samsung-dong.)

However, not all airlines are available.
Only two domestic FSC airlines departing on the same day, Korean Air, Asiana Airlines,
and some LCC airlines are available.
There may be restrictions for flights to the United States.
Please check the city airport terminal website to see if your airline or flight can be checked in at the airport terminal.
